K’town is buzzing with news about actor Karthi’s wedding and the latest one hears is that he is planning to take a break from work for his D-day.
Karthi is presently shooting for the movie Saguni.
His wedding with Ranjani will take place in Coimbatore on July 3, this event is to be a very private affair. The newly-wed couple will then greet the who’s who of Kollywood at a grand reception that has been planned in Chennai on July 7.
Meanwhile, word has it that Karthi will team up with director Rajesh, after he completes Oru Kal Oru Kannadi with Udhayanidhi.
According to sources, Rajesh has narrated just one line of his script to the actor and it is said that Karthi was mighty impressed with what he heard and has asked the director to go ahead and work on it. It is likely that Gnanavel of Studio Green banner will produce this movie.
Even though Rajesh agreed that he’s narrated a script to Karthi, the filmmaker wasn’t very forthcoming about the storyline.
Our sources reveal that going by Rajesh’s previous projects - Siva Manasula Sakthi and Boss Engira Bhaskaran, this new film will also be a light-hearted rom-com.
